Skiathos island

Skiathos island, part of the Sporades complex, is one of the most popular destinations in the Aegean. Blessed with a stunning coastline of magnificent golden beaches, a backdrop of pine forests and modern infrastructure, Skiathos has something for everyone.

Its vivid cosmopolitan atmosphere attracts mostly young visitors. The peaceful golden beaches are ideal for romantic couples and the well-organized facilities and safe natural environment make it a perfect holiday destination for families with children.

The island’s most famous village is Skiathos town, the capital and main port. It is a charming settlement, just 1,8km from our lovely Skiathos apartments, with a combination of traditional and modern architecture and entertainment.

Regarding its golden shoreline, the most popular beaches, like Koukounaries, Banana and Kanapitsa bay, are found on the southern part of the island. Their conditions are perfect for water sports, while there are many hiking trails in the pine forests that surround them.

Don’t miss the chance to visit the exotic beach of Lalaria, accessible only by boat trip, on the northern coast of Skiathos.

Our Skiathos apartments

Located on a secluded and scenic spot in front of the lake, our hospitable Saint George complex consists of four houses, equipped with all essentials for a self-catering holiday accommodation. Built on different levels, the four high quality villas and apartments provide total privacy and beautiful setting, surrounded by pine and olive trees.

Saint George Skiathos apartments offer comfortable spaces with tasteful decoration and modern amenities, such as A/C, flat screen TV, internet access, fridge, kitchen and hairdryer. Each villa also features a spacious veranda overlooking the town of Skiathos.

The nearest beach, at 2 km from the complex, is the wonderful sandy cove of Xanemo. The centre and port of Skiathos town is also very close.
